In General

The south end of the Penn Line runs from Union Station in Washington DC to Martinsburg WV.

There are separate trains that go to Frederick MD, which splits off from the line just before Point of Rocks. These trains are kept overnight in a yard on the south side of I-70 at exit 55, Reichs Ford Rd.

Trains for the remainder of the Brunswick line are stored in Brunswick, at the CSX yard.

MARC service is Monday through Friday only, plan your railfanning accordingly.

Amtrak will honor MARC tickets on certain trains, check the MARC website for details.

MTA Photo Policy
